iPod Updater qui passe ainsi en version
3.0.2.
Cette
mise à jour concerne à priori tous les
iPods.
Cette mise
à jour est proposée via le module de mise à jour des logiciels,
ou directement sur le site d'
Apple.

Le programme de mise à jour iPod
Updater 2004-08-06 inclut le logiciel iPod 3.0.1 pour les iPod équipés
d’une molette cliquable. Le programme de mise à jour iPod Updater
2004-08-06 comprend les mêmes versions du logiciel que le programme iPod
Updater 2004-07-15 pour tous les autres modèles
d’iPod.
Le logiciel iPod 3.0.1 comporte les
fonctionnalités suivantes
:Une meilleure connectivité avec certaines cartes FireWire utilisant un jeu de puces VIA.
Une meilleure connectivité avec certains concentrateurs FireWire et les ports FireWire à 4 broches.
Une gestion de l’alimentation améliorée.
De meilleures performances avec le pack de batterie externe facultatif.
La possibilité de retirer les écouteurs alors que le bouton Hold est enclenché sans réactiver l’iPod.

About iPod Updater 2004-08-06
The iPod Updater
2004-08-06 has two functions, Update and Restore.
• Update: If you choose Update, the software on your iPod
is updated with the new version of software. Songs and other data on iPod are
not affected. If your iPod already has up-to-date software, the Update choice is
not available.
• Restore: If you choose Restore, the entire contents of
iPod are erased, all iPod settings are reset, and new software is
installed.
WARNING: Choosing Restore erases all of the music and other data on
iPod.
